First Day all Fellows were being oriented by Deshpande Foundation’s Director Mr. Naveen, Program Director, Taryn and Program Manager Chinnababu. In evening we had interaction with Lead Program Leaders.
On second day of the orientation Sand Box Fellows shared their work experience with different NGOs. Afternoon we went to sub-jail where we performed two street plays and some cultural programs.
on Third day of the orientation program we got up very
early morning we went to “Akshaya Patra Foundation”. It was 6am when we reached there. Mr. Yagnesh the coordinator guided us in this orientation he showed us how the process of meals preparation goes. The orientation had started from the store room he showed us machine which cleans the rise even from metal waste. After that he showed us different departments of meals preparation. There was a discussion on this program after seeing the whole process in this Mr. Yagnesh answered the questions asked by fellows.
